About
Salamtak
Salamtak Association is a Palestinian, non-profit, and independent non-governmental organization operating in the Gaza Strip. The association was established to pioneer an innovative, integrated model in community health and humanitarian recovery, strictly guided by our core operational philosophy: "People Before Service, and Dignity Before Procedure."
We do not view our field interventions merely as cold, technical medical data or statistics, but rather as an integrated ecosystem of protection, safety, and containment. We actively work to transition the most vulnerable and crisis-affected groups (especially cancer patients and the injured) from the square of fear, trauma, and isolation into the square of stability and sustainable holistic recovery.
Our Five Core Programmatic Pillars:
• Salamtak Compass: Navigating and escorting patients towards safe and timely medical access.
• Salamtak Steps: Advanced specialized wound care and multi-disciplinary medical rehabilitation to prevent disabilities.
• Salamtak Support: Specialized mental health and psychosocial support that restores hope and inner peace.
• Salamtak Awareness: Evidence-based community health education, behavioral change methodologies, and digital protection.
• Salamtak Knowledge: Conducting operational research and community health assessments to drive evidence-based development decisions.
Our Identity Covenant: "Salamtak... Safety that Protects Human Dignity."

To lead in building an integrated model for community health and humanitarian recovery within a sustainable environment that preserves the dignity of the Palestinian people and strengthens their ability to live with hope and dignity.
Salamtak Association is committed to leading a pioneering Palestinian model in community health and humanitarian recovery by establishing an integrated and sustainable care system that preserves human dignity and safeguards community well-being.
We work to empower the most vulnerable groups by facilitating patients’ access to essential services, providing advanced rehabilitation and patient support, strengthening psychological and social stability, promoting behavioral and preventive awareness, and institutionalizing evidence-based health knowledge within a framework that promotes social solidarity, sustainable development, and the protection of human dignity.
