The theme for World Cancer Day 2026 is: “United in Uniqueness”  because every patient has a different story, a different need, and a different journey with the disease.

In Gaza, every cancer patient is “unique” in their story…
But they are all united in one suffering:
Treatment interruptions, medication shortages, lack of diagnosis, and the impossibility of accessing stable healthcare.
Here, cancer patients don't just fight the disease,

They also fight power outages, medication shortages, postponed treatment sessions, food shortages, and the daily fear of missing their treatment in time.

At Salamtek, we believe that patient-centered care is not just a slogan… but a human right.

That's why we work to support patients with transportation for treatment, supportive care, and humanitarian aid despite limited resources.

Today, we raise the voices of cancer patients in Gaza:
