A Recreational and Psychosocial Support Activity for 50 Cancer Survivors

A Space for Joy… Because Healing Goes Beyond Medicine

Salamtak Association organized a recreational and psychosocial support activity for women who have survived cancer, bringing together 50 cancer survivors in an atmosphere designed to promote joy, emotional well-being, and positive social connection.

The activity provided participants with an opportunity to step away, even briefly, from the challenges associated with illness and treatment, and to enjoy moments of movement, laughter, participation, and connection that helped bring back a sense of joy and positivity.

The event included a variety of recreational and interactive games and activities, creating an energetic and enjoyable atmosphere. It also featured psychosocial support activities and opportunities for participants to connect, share experiences, and engage positively with one another.

The activity reflected Salamtak’s commitment to a holistic understanding of cancer recovery. Recovery is not measured by medical treatment and medication alone; joy, psychological support, social connection, dignity, and feeling cared for are also essential parts of comprehensive care.

The main purpose of the day was simple: to give every participant an opportunity to experience something different, enjoy positive moments away from everyday pressures, and leave with a beautiful memory and renewed positive energy.

Salamtak continues to develop initiatives and activities that address the psychological and social needs of women living with and surviving cancer, based on its belief that true care extends beyond treatment to embrace the whole person and create space for hope, dignity, and life.
