This is achieved through an interconnected network of services including medical transportation, health guidance and counseling, an oncology advisory clinic, patient inquiry services, coordination and referral with hospitals and the Ministry of Health, in addition to supporting surgical operations and specialized medical services.
Salamtak Steps Program
Stepping with Patients Towards Recovery
An integrated program aimed at restoring functional capacity and improving the quality of life for health-affected individuals, by providing medical rehabilitation and wound care services according to a multidisciplinary approach. A specialized program aimed at promoting mental health and psychosocial support for health and humanely affected groups, especially cancer patients and their families. The program provides individual and group counseling, psychosocial support for cases impacted by chronic diseases and difficult humanitarian conditions, in addition to referral and coordination services with relevant specialized entities.
The program works on fostering psychological adaptation to illness, reducing anxiety and psychological stress, and improving overall quality of life. The intervention is grounded in a humanitarian approach based on dignity, strict confidentiality, and holistic person-centered care, which effectively contributes to enhancing the psychological and social stability of beneficiaries and supporting their capacity to continue their treatment and recovery journey with resilience.
Salamtak Awareness Program
Health Awareness is the Path to Prevention and Protection
A community-based program aimed at promoting health awareness and disease prevention through evidence-based health education, implementing community awareness campaigns, and producing scientific content and awareness messages tailored to various groups. The program covers awareness on breast cancer, chronic diseases, reproductive health, anti-smoking, and public health. Additionally, it focuses on promoting awareness of digital protection, preventing cyber-extortion, and gender-based violence.
Salamtak Knowledge Program
Knowledge that Drives More Impactful Health Decisions
A strategic program aimed at supporting evidence-based decision-making through conducting health studies and research, assessing field needs, analyzing health and humanitarian data, and managing knowledge and institutional learning in the Gaza Strip. The program encompasses monitoring and evaluating health priorities, preparing periodic reports and field surveys on the health system's status and the needs of vulnerable groups, in addition to measuring the impact of implemented humanitarian programs and projects to ensure their sustainability and development.
The program operates according to a rigorous scientific and research methodology that seeks to bridge information gaps for decision-makers, international and local organizations, and humanitarian partners. This intervention contributes to guiding strategic planning and linking medical assistance and interventions to real and urgent needs on the ground, ensuring higher efficiency in resource allocation and achieving a sustainable impact in serving the community.
